EDMI has released its second annual Sustainability Report, outlining continued efforts in environmental responsibility, social inclusion, and sound governance across its global operations.
Key achievements highlighted in the 2024 Sustainability Report include:
– A 3% reduction in energy intensity, supporting improved operational efficiency
– Expanded Scope 3 emissions reporting, contributing to greater transparency
– Attained ISO14064 verification for FY2023 Scope 1 & Scope 2 emissions, reinforcing the credibility and accuracy of our greenhouse gas reporting
– Conducted a product lifecycle assessment, enhancing our understanding of environmental impacts across the value chain and informing potential future design and sourcing options
The report also details EDMI’s alignment with the Osaki Group’s greenhouse gas reduction targets, which were officially validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in March 2025. This reflects our ongoing commitment to international sustainability reporting standards.
