Osaki Group Recognised with “B” Rating in CDP Climate Change Assessment

Osaki Electric Co., Ltd., EDMI’s parent company in Japan, announced that the Osaki Group has been recognised with a “B” rating in the CDP Climate Change assessment, following the Group’s recognition in the previous year. CDP is a global disclosure system operated by a non-profit organisation headquartered in England, which evaluates companies and cities worldwide on environmental management, including actions taken to address climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

As part of the Osaki Group, EDMI remains committed to working closely with our stakeholders through smart metering and energy solutions to help minimise environmental impact and support the sustainable development of society.

EDMI has established its Sustainability Policy and Materiality Goals to guide responsible business practices in alignment with Osaki Group’s sustainability direction. Since FY2023, EDMI has published an annual Sustainability Report, reinforcing our commitment to transparency and accountability, and highlighting our progress and ongoing initiatives across environmental, social and governance priorities.
