As EDMI continues to strengthen its operations in the Philippines, we are seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead end‑to‑end operational delivery and drive consistent, high‑quality outcomes for our customers.
The Senior Operations Manager is accountable for end‑to‑end operational performance in the Philippines, covering production planning, purchasing, warehousing, kitting, logistics, operations administration, hardware calibration, refurbishment, and rework.
Reporting to the Operations Director – APAC,, and working very closely supporting the EDMI Philippines Senior Vice President to deliver committed outcomes and manage the EDMI Philippines entity, the role works closely with global teams, customers, and supply chain partners to deliver operational excellence, continuous improvement, and strong customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and develop the Philippines Operations team, embedding a strong performance and accountability culture.
- Role‑model OneEDMI values and promote collaboration, integrity, and customer focus.
- Act as escalation point for critical operational or after‑hours incidents.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams across time zones as required.
Operations & Delivery Management
- Lead end‑to‑end operations to ensure on‑time, in‑full, and to‑specification delivery at the most efficient cost.
- Translate demand signals into effective S&OP plans aligned to customer and business requirements.
- Oversee hardware purchasing, warehouse operations, inventory control, and domestic and international logistics.
- Manage suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure alignment with EDMI operational strategies.
- Ensure timely and controlled processing of hardware modifications, calibration, refurbishment, and RMAs.
Safety, Quality, Risk & Improvement
- Ensure all operations are delivered safely, at the right quality, and in compliance with EDMI systems and procedures.
- Implement quality controls and checks to ensure products meet specifications.
- Proactively identify and manage operational risks.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes, systems, and ways of working.
- Support EDMI sustainability goals and responsible operational practices.
Culture & Capability Development
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members, building strong operational capability and future leaders.
- Foster a customer‑first mindset and a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Lead change initiatives to support growth, efficiency, and adaptability.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in operations or supply chain leadership
- Demonstrated experience leading teams in complex operational environments.
- Strong understanding of planning, warehousing, logistics, procurement, and vendor management.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience is advantageous).
- Project management experience or certification (e.g. PRINCE2) is an advantage.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder‑management skills.
