EDMI realigns business operations in the Middle East and Africa (MEA)

EDMI, a Global Energy Solution Leader, is realigning its business operations in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region as part of a strategic decision to streamline its global activities. This change reflects EDMI’s commitment to find the best engagement model to service our valued customers in the MEA region.

Effective immediately, EDMI’s business operations in the MEA region will be managed by EDMP Trading LLC (EDMP), a newly incorporated and independent entity based in the United Arab Emirates. EDMP has been established by former EDMI MEA employees, bringing their extensive expertise, familiarity with the region, and a deep understanding of customer needs to the forefront.

EDMP will take full responsibility for the promotion, marketing, distribution, and support of electricity metering devices and related services in the MEA region. Customers with active contracts or guarantees will continue to receive uninterrupted support through the dedicated team at EDMP, ensuring a seamless transition.

This transition ensures that customers in the MEA region will continue to receive high-quality support and service under the stewardship of EDMP. EDMI is confident that this move will empower local expertise and foster growth and innovation in the region while allowing EDMI to focus its efforts on delivering best in class energy solutions globally.

For customers with existing commitments, EDMI remains dedicated to ensuring deliveries as agreed.
